Frequently Asked Questions

How many times can I use a team offense or team defense?
Endzone Challenge allows one to select a team offense or team defense once per 17-week NFL season. For example: If one were to select the Raiders offense and Rams defense in Week One, those two units would be unavailable to that user's team for the remainder of the season (Weeks 2-17).

Can I use the same team's offense and defense on the same week?
Yes, just as long as they're eligible to be selected.

How will I know which offensive and defensive units are available for me to select?
Once an offensive or defensive unit is locked in as one's choice for a certain week, the Endzone Challenge software automatically removes that unit from the list for future weeks. Only eligible offensive or defensive units will be available for the user to select.

Can I use the offense and defense of teams opposing each other or vice versa?
Although it's not suggested, yes, users are allowed to select whatever eligible team unit they choose; even if the desired offense/defense is squaring off against the desired defense/offense.

Do I have to use every offensive or defensive unit once?
No. Since there are 17-weeks in a NFL season and 32 NFL teams, 15 offensive units and 15 defensive units will go unused.

Can I skip over certain NFL teams entirely?
Yes. There is no requirement stating that an offensive or defensive unit from a particular NFL team be used at least once.

How many teams am I competing against?
Each division of Endzone Challenge consists of 50 teams.

Where can I find the official Endzone Challenge rules?
Full rules can be found by clicking here.

What happens if I fail to make a pick for a week?
Bad things: ten points are subtracted from your overall point total.

How are ties broken?
At the end of Week 16, all ties are broken using the highest net total of yards.

When is the Endzone Challenge entry deadline?
The entry deadline is Thursday, September 7 at 4:00 pm Eastern time.
